About the gym

Flat White Fitness is named after the coffee — alluding to the idea of the gym being your “third place”: a home away from both work and home.

After we leave school, many of us lose our third place, or find it in environments that don’t always promote positive habits or reinforce healthy behaviours.

We want to create a space where people can rediscover their third place — one that encourages growth, builds strong life habits, and supports long-term health.

At Flat White, our vision is simple: to be the third place where people come to better themselves through quality coaching and a like-minded community of individuals who are here to serve something bigger than just themselves.

Are your classes beginner friendly?

Yes. we have helped hundreds of members that never stepped into a gym before becoming confident and learning how to move in a safe and efficient way. All our classes are designed to meet you where you are and let you progress at your own pace

Why is group training so popular?

You’ll push yourself harder with friends and coaches by your side, learn from others, and enjoy the mental health benefits of social connection. It’s also more cost-effective than personal training, as you share coaching and program costs while still following a structured plan designed to get results.

What is the difference between CrossFit and other group classes?

CrossFit at Flat White Fitness is a proven system that has been helping people improve strength, fitness, and overall health for over two decades. Our programs are built on methods that work for all ages and experience levels. Instead of chasing the latest trend, you get a time-tested approach that consistently helps members feel fitter, stronger, and healthier.

How often should I train to see results?

Members training 3+ days per week typically notice results within the first few weeks. We offer flexible memberships, so you can increase or decrease sessions as your schedule changes.

Do I need to be fit to join?

Not at all. Our job is to get you fit safely and efficiently. We remove the guesswork, make sure you move well, and minimize injury risk. Many of our members say, “I wish I joined sooner!” — don’t wait to start your journey.

Do you have lock-in contracts?

No. Memberships are paid weekly and can be switched, upgraded, or paused whenever your schedule changes. Heading away for work or holidays? No problem — just pause your membership and resume when you return.
